Varun Puri
Varun Puri is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yoodli, an AI-powered experiential learning platform helping enterprises build communication-ready teams at scale. Based in Seattle, Washington, Varun founded Yoodli in 2021 out of a deeply personal mission: growing up in India, where two out of three people struggle to speak with confidence, he saw firsthand how communication barriers limit opportunity. Yoodli is his answer to that problem, a private, judgment-free space where anyone can practice the conversations that matter most.
Before Yoodli, Varun ran special projects for Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google. He then joined Google X as an early employee and product manager on Project Taara, an ambitious initiative using invisible lasers to bring high-speed internet connectivity to underconnected regions of the world. His career bridges deep technology, product, and a commitment to access and equity.
Varun holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa honor graduate, Robert Day Scholar, Commencement Speaker, ranked 11th at the 2015 National Debate Championships, and named Best Attorney at the U.S. National Mock Trial Championships. He delivered a TEDx talk, prepared using Yoodli itself, and continues to be a voice for communication confidence, immigrant entrepreneurship, and education equity.
