Currently serving as a Senior HRBP Director in Engineering, she partners strategically with engineering leaders to foster a high-performance culture. She plays a key role in developing and executing people strategies that support the engineering organization's goals and objectives. Shirin built her career on a foundation of sales, speed, and relationship-building. Her journey at Fastly began as their first recruiter, where she had the privilege of growing the Global Talent Acquisition team from 2 to 35 and leading the company through an IPO and a pandemic. Her focus has always been on delivering a human-centered employee and candidate experience and developing her team to reach their full potential. She thrives on direct feedback and transparency and believes in fostering a culture of open communication and laughter. Outside of work, you'll find her spending time with her son, enjoying the beach, or challenging herself with hot yoga.
