Samir has spent his career driving business impact at fintech companies. He started his career covering market structure at JP Morgan, before becoming the first Finance hire at one of the first AI fraud prevention startups. From there, he led Strategic Finance at Chime, drove financial partnerships at BaaS platform Unit and built the Strategic Finance function at Hudson River Trading, an algorithmic trading firm. Today he leads Global Strategic Partnerships Finance at Block. He is also the creator of Interspace Ventures, where he writes an over-engineered newsletter on all things fintech, tech, strategic finance and AI.
