Kris Dunn is Marriott International’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for the US and Canada, responsible for providing the people platform for 130,000 associates (across 30+ portfolio brands) at the world’s leading travel/hospitality firm. Prior to his move back to HR, Kris served as Marriott’s SVP of Global Talent Acquisition, defining and continually evolving Marriott’s global recruitment strategy and delivery for the organization across 200,000 hires annually, including TA Strategies & Solutions, TA Operations, University Relations & Recruiting, Recruiting Services/RPO, FLEX Talent Solutions, TA Technology, Executive Recruitment and Employer Brand. Kris brings extensive leadership and innovation experience in the world of Talent Acquisition and HR. Prior to Marriott, Kris held multiple leadership positions with Fortune 500 organizations, such as Charter Communications and AT&T Wireless, as well as high-growth, private, equity-backed firms like Kinetix, Source Medical and DAXKO. Kris is the author of two books (The 9 Faces of HR, Best Boss Ever) and hosts a podcast on his journey in Talent Acquisition called Best Hire Ever.
