Huy Nguyen is a Lead HR Data Scientist at Leidos, where he partners closely with technology and business leaders to integrate AI into HR operations in ways that deliver measurable, leadership-relevant outcomes. His work focuses on practical AI adoption across workforce strategy, talent management, and employee experience, with an emphasis on responsible, scalable implementation. With over a decade of experience spanning defense, healthcare, and consulting, Huy Nguyen brings a practitioner’s perspective on how HR and technology teams can successfully collaborate to modernize HR processes using AI. He works hands-on with machine learning, large language models, and agentic AI systems, while also guiding cross-functional teams on governance, measurement, and change management. He serves on internal groups focused on AI Governance, Ethical AI, and Leidos’ participation in the White House Pledge to America’s Youth: Investing in AI Education. Through his writing and speaking, Huy Nguyen helps HR leaders move beyond experimentation to execution, identifying where AI adds value, how to measure impact, and how to sustain momentum for long-term workforce transformation.
