He started his career as an academic researching AI technologies and their implications on jobs. While at McKinsey, he advised Fortune 100 leaders on harnessing the power of AI while managing risks. As an SVP at Capital One, he led teams building AI technologies while managing risk and governance. Today, Guru is the Founder & CEO of FairNow, a technology platform that simplifies AI governance, so that companies can invest in AI while managing its risks. Guru has a BS in Computer Science from Stanford and a PhD in Economics from Columbia.
