For over two decades, Ekta Vyas, Ph.D has been leading transformations at different levels in organizations. In her co-authored book with Mission Matters she talks about How to be an Effective Transformational Leader by embracing the interconnectedness of multiple organizational and people variables that need to come together to bring the emergence of a better future. HR technology has been central to many transformational efforts Dr. Vyas has undertaken. As a fierce advocate of the role of technology in driving effectiveness and efficiency for HR, she served on the IHRIM Board (International Association for HR Information Management) and spearheaded the renewal of HRIP certification criteria in 2018. As a systems thinker and strong proponent of ecosystem awareness, Dr. Vyas has been a Forbes influencer since 2017, writing and speaking about leadership, culture, strategy, mergers & acquisitions, transformational change, and emotional intelligence. Today, she serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Keck Medicine, the health enterprise of University of Southern California.
