Chung-Man Tam is Chief Product Officer at Socure. Tam brings deep technical roots and proven product leadership at scale across identity verification, credit, cyber risk, and high-performance data systems. He began his career as an engineer and has consistently operated close to systems, building and scaling complex platforms rather than merely managing them. As Senior Vice President of Product Development at Affirm, he led the team that built proprietary identity verification solutions, giving him direct domain experience that maps immediately to Socure’s core mission. Earlier, he led product at AdMob through rapid growth and its acquisition by Google, where he championed a bold pivot to commit fully to the emerging App Store economy, a defining example of his philosophy of recognizing technology inflection points and acting with conviction. He has also served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Sequoia Capital and as a CEO, giving him end-to-end experience translating technical capability into business value.
