Think Tank: Work Transformation Isn’t the Problem — Adoption Is

22 Oct 2026
Think Tank
This Think Tank focuses on why well-designed work models so often fail when they hit real organizations — and what it actually takes to make them stick. Even the most elegant operating models, workflows, and organizational redesigns tend to break down in execution. The issue is rarely design quality. It is adoption friction, leadership behavior, organizational inertia, and the gap between intent and day-to-day practice.

Participants will join together with their peers for fast-paced, scenario-based discussions that surface the real-world breakdowns that derail transformation efforts — from leadership reverting to old habits, to employees disengaging, to pilots failing at scale.

Across rapid, structured rounds, tables will pressure-test what actually drives behavior change inside organizations. The focus is not conceptual frameworks, but practical moves that shift how work gets done and sustained over time.

Learning Objective 1

Identify the most common failure patterns in work redesign efforts, including the behavioral and cultural barriers that prevent adoption.

Learning Objective 2

Translate redesign challenges into concrete, actionable interventions that help new ways of working stick in practice.

Learning Objective 3

Recognize where ownership, accountability, and leadership behaviors must shift beyond HR to sustain real transformation efforts.
