Reinventing HR with Agentic AI: Lessons from Accenture’s Enterprise-Scale Transformation
Accenture’s HR organization, serving over 800,000 employees worldwide, has taken agentic AI from concept to production. In this session, presenters will share how Accenture built the foundations, the philosophy, and the operating rhythm that enabled real progress.
At the center is a philosophical shift: treating agentic AI not as a path to efficiency, but as an opportunity to reimagine how business processes work—cross-functionally and across corporate boundaries. The presenters will illustrate this with three use cases now in production:
• Frictionless Recruiting: an end-to-end, fully automated candidate flow that sources, screens, and ranks applicants, scheduling first interviews within 24 hours—without human intervention. It demonstrates how multi-agent collaboration can redesign the recruiting experience entirely, improving quality, speed, and candidate engagement simultaneously.
• Plan to Fulfill: a connected system that links Sales, Finance, and HR planning into a single, adaptive model. Agents coordinate across forecasting, talent supply and demand, recruiting pipelines, and development activities to anticipate needs and fulfill them dynamically.
• Employee Support: Accenture employees have a trusted HR Agent that is always available for career and life events – providing clear answers, direction, and reminders while freeing HR partners to focus on coaching and advice for sensitive or complex matters.
The session closes with lessons learned, what’s next in Accenture’s agentic ecosystem, and an open Q&A on the realities of scaling AI across HR organizations.
