Empowering Deskless Workers in the New Labor Landscape

September 16, 2025
People and Culture Theater - Expo Hall
People & Culture Session
The employer-employee relationship is fundamental. Today, however, that relationship is strained—especially for deskless workplaces.

The on-demand economy has reshaped the work landscape, giving employees more options and higher expectations than ever before. Meanwhile, wages, benefits, and technology for many deskless roles have stagnated, leaving workers feeling strained, disconnected, and unmotivated. Employers report challenges in hiring and retaining talent, but most are still playing by the old rules—and losing in the new labor landscape.

To succeed in this reality, deskless employers need more than a collection of isolated benefits. They need a central platform that evolves the employer-employee relationship, giving businesses the utility and benefits to enable and engage their on-the-go workforce.
